Project Description:
The Vienna-Matzleinsdorf station was converted from a freight train station with handling facilities to a facility for traction (TR), technical services (TS) and passenger transportation (PV). The facility is used for parking and service as well as maintenance and repairing drive trains, wagons and sets, fueling diesel engines and storing emergency gear for emergencies. Halls and an administrative building with offices and administrative departments have been built to serve as central personnel headquarters

Project Description:
A 2-track high speed route for mixed traffic will be built between Graz and Klagenfurt. The goal is re-routing the existing, growing traffic to the tracks to greatest extent possible, as well as relieving and improving the existing route. The Koralmbahn venture projects new construction on approx. 120 km. The core segment is the Koralm tunnel with approx. 33 km length.
The consortium-contract includes the partial segment West of the Wettmannstätten train station up to the East of the Lavanttal train station. The new Western Styria train station with a connection to the Graz - Köflach train station, technical train routing of the Koralm tunnel with an emergency stop inside the tunnel is included as well.

Project Description:
Complete new construction on the 8 km long distance between the Vienna train stations Klein Schwechat and Vienna-Donaukai station on ÖBB-route 124 (Maxing – Nußdorf), which has been disconnected in the Freudenau area since 1945.
The following measures were implemented:
- Restoration of the approx. 8 km long, one-track electric route between the train stations Klein Schwechat and Vienna-Donaukaibahnhof
- Conversion / new construction of tracks at the Albern station and at the Donaukai station
- New bridge construction over Dreherstraße, Sängergasse, pedestrian- and bicycle path Kaiser-Ersdorferstrasse, pedestrian- and bicycle path Neu Albern, Alberner port access road to the Donau canal and the Freudenauer port, planned expansion of a port train track, access to the Donau power plant Freudenau.
- Noise barriers and vibration control measures in accordance with the expert statement.
